2. Ariel Survey - JCP& L

Please be advised that you may be seeing a black helicopter with red markings flying over Springfield periodically. This helicopter is used by Jersey Central Power & Light, a “First Energy” company and is conducting an Aerial Survey of the power grid. We wanted to make you are aware of the presence of the helicopter in order to allay any concerns or pre-answer questions that may arise.

In addition to the budget worksheet posted on 4/30/08 which contained the details of the "other expenses" for each department, we now have a second worksheet which lists total proposed appropriations for 2008 compared to 2007 and which provides summaries of the total proposed budget.

Public questions on this work in progress will be accepted at the 5/13/08 township meeting. Department heads will be available to answer questions.
