Senator Murray spoke at the grand opening of the Bellevue Transit Center in Bellevue, Washington.
The new center will reduce traffic and improve public transportation. It will handle over 100 buses during peak hours and serve as a hub for over 20 Sound Transit and King County Metro bus routes.
As the Chairman of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Subcommittee, Sen. Murray worked to secure nearly $4 million for the center. (10/24/02)
