Speaker Biography: Eleanor Clift is contributing editor for Newsweek magazine and a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated show "The McLaughlin Group." She is the author of "War Without Bloodshed: The Art of Politics" and "Madam President: Shattering the Last Glass Ceiling" -- both co-authored with her late husband, Tom Brazaitis -- as well as "Founding Sisters and the Nineteenth Amendment." Her latest book, "Two Weeks of Life: A Memoir of Love, Death and Politics" (Basic Books, 2008), recounts the final two weeks of her husband's life as he battled cancer. She lives in the District of Columbia.
