The Treasury Department has posted the Consolidated Financial Statements of the United States Government for fiscal year 2005 on its Internet site. The report includes a letter from Comptroller General David M. Walker, disclaiming an opinion on the statements and commenting on the fiscal condition of the nation and financial management issues.
