- Human rights activist Jody Williams didn’t encourage audience members at the University of Science and Arts to take on landmines like she did. She didn’t ask the audience to fight nuclear weapons or hunger in foreign countries. She did, however, tell audience members to “get engaged in what you are passionate about. Don’t sit on the sidelines and whine – do something.”
