ORU Concert Brings a Christmas Underneath the Star
The 2008 Oral Roberts University Christmas celebration, one of Tulsa's favorite annual community Christmas events, is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the ORU Mabee Center. This year's theme is "Underneath the Star," featuring the ORU music department. Admission to the concert is a new, unwrapped toy. Poster Presentation Prize
Biomedical chemistry major David Bulger won an award for best poster and was awarded a cash prize at the Annual Southwest American Water Works Association Conference in Tulsa on Oct. 13. The title of David’s poster was “Survey of Public Water Facility and University Collaborations in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana: Plant Supervisor Interviews.” The conference included sections of AWWA from Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. ORU Professors Offer Biblical Business Advice
Several of the School of Business professors have contributed to a devotional for business people, titled Solomon was a Businessman: Advice from the Wealthiest Man on Earth, and edited by Ardith Baker, ORU assistant professor of business, and David W. Whitlock. The book is full of devotionals for Christians in the business world trying to conduct themselves with integrity. The wisdom of Solomon is discussed from the viewpoint of business professionals. Read more
