Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell Is National Professor of the Year
Her commitment to teaching has earned Associate Professor of Psychology Jerusha Detweiler-Bedell praise since she arrived at Lewis & Clark in 2001. Now she is being honored nationally as the Outstanding Baccalaureate Colleges Professor of the Year by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Fulbright Scholarship Successes
Lewis & Clark ranks among the top 20 undergraduate colleges in the country in the production of Fulbright Award winners for 2008-09. Six Lewis & Clark students won Fulbright Scholarships last year and are now pursuing teaching and research opportunities abroad.

Supreme Court Justices and Other Legal Luminaries Visit
Lewis & Clark Law School hosted U.S. Supreme Court justices, federal judges, appellate lawyers, and scholars at the combined 40th anniversary celebration of the Federal Judicial Center and annual meeting of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, held September 18-20.
