1814 - William Clark Map: After the Expedition

This was the first published map to incorporate the discoveries of Lewis and Clark. It was compiled from William Clark's large manuscript map of the West by Samuel Lewis, a noted Philadelphia mapmaker, for publication with Nicholas Biddle's History of the Expedition under the Command of Captains Lewis and Clark.
