Senator Dorgan is a strong supporter of wind energy, and has helped the wind industry in North Dakota make big strides.
Today, North Dakota truly is the “Saudi Arabia of Wind,” with a larger wind energy resource than any other state.
Senator Dorgan has hosted several wind and renewable energy conferences in North Dakota, sponsored legislation and worked with many partners to encourage development of large and small wind energy projects in the state.
