Enhanced Assessment Insturments: In the February 4, 2008 Federal Register the U.S. Department of Education Office of Elementary and Secondary Education Overview announced the availability of funding for the Enhanced Assessment Instruments program (Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance number 84.368A). The purpose of this program is to enhance the quality of assessment instruments and systems used by States for measuring the achievement of all students. The application deadline is April 4, 2008.
