Accessibility overview
Metrorail and Metrobus serve a population of 3.5 million within a 1,500 square-mile area, and the system is considered one of the most accessible transit systems in the world. Metro continually strives to provide easy access for all customers. Whether it’s elevator access from street level to the train platform or low floor and lift-equipped buses, Metro is working to make the system accessible to customers with disabilities.
