This legislation addresses the need to provide loans to dental school faculty.

It authorizes loan repayment programs for individuals who are interested in becoming faculty and requires the Secretary to encourage programs that receive funding to promote and recruit diverse faculty. It is pending consideration by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
