CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 485

February 14, 2001

TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for Bush February Document*

At the end of February 2001, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will issue a single budgetary document that will describe the Administration's comprehensive economic plan, including FY 2002 initiatives. The Bush February Document is a prelude to the full FY 2002 Budget transmittal package expected in the spring. Details regarding the full package will be announced at a later date.

This February document will have a paper cover and is expected to comprise between 150 and 180 pages. Although the rider rate has yet to be determined, your requisitions prior to production allow for the printing of these copies during regular press runs. This results in substantial savings, which we are then able to pass along to you. (Note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.)

To take advantage of the rider rates, forward your requisitions (Standard Form 1) to GPO by February 21, 2001. Be sure to include OMB Requisition Number 1-00058 and GPO Jacket Number 188-575 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork to GPO.

If you have any questions, please contact your GPO Account Representative or call the Departmental Account Representative Division on 202-512-0238.

Sincerely,

JIM BRADLEY
Director, Customer Services

*Note: This is a "working" title to use in submitting your requisitions, the official title of this document has not yet been announced.
