Res. 637] The Committee on Rules, having had under consideration House Resolution 637, by a record vote of 8 to 3, report the same to the House with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS OF THE RESOLUTION The resolution provides for the consideration of the conference report to accompany the bill H.R. 2669 to provide for reconciliation pursuant to section 601 of the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2008. The resolution waives all points of order against the conference report and its consideration. The resolution considers the conference report as read. EXPLANATION OF WAIVERS The waiver of all points of order against the conference report and against its consideration includes a waiver of clause 8 of rule XXII (requiring a three-day layover of conference reports and the accompanying joint explanatory statement).
