I'm not sure why anyone who uses MySpace to promote themselves (bands/DJs/labels) would set their profile to private... defeats purpose...
not sure if you knew, but I recently started a music publicity/promotions co. & now All Good Funk Alliance is a client ... pretty cool ...
This Friday in Orlando :: ¡Club Queso! presents ¡La Navidad Es Para Los Luchadores! - http://bit.ly/gsjj ... we hope you can make it ...

European 12" distributors Pinnacle, Windsong, and Neuton have all gone under as of today ... hang in there, my vinyl friend ...
@dubber a problem I see: the main thing a distro offers is the consolidation of many diff pieces so the store only pays one shipping fee
putting together my holiday DJ mix for Friday's ¡Club Queso! party ... average BPM = 115 ... chunky & dubby! will post online next week
@mediajorge - and I think that will be the definition of "album": a musical release is an event, as opposed to just the release of new music
@mediajorge that said, agree & also hopeful albums will not disappear but think they will become 'something else' (as will singles) ...
@mediajorge not just talking about web... 'industry' hasn't been singles-oriented in decades... merging that w/ today's tech = interesting
@mediajorge it's definitely singles, which may create an interesting juxtaposition of 50's throwback hit-maker mindset & 21st century tech
as seen last night on The Colbert Report: The Evolution Of Tradition Secular Xmas Card - http://bit.ly/a6Ix ... fantastic!
b/c of the earlier D. Hyman tweet today's track is my own James Brown cover: Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine - http://bit.ly/xso7
@r_mack_lingo KY mini-tour was a ton of fun, as expected ... I really dig the new Lower 48 bar in Lexington ... nice little watering hole!
Dick Hyman's classic otherworldly cover of James Brown's "Give It Up Or Turn It Loose" ... you gotta have this! - http://bit.ly/Ul6c
heading down to Ethos by Lake Ivanhoe, my favorite lunch spot (and office away from home) ... http://hellotxt.com/l/RZ8p
@msemilym can't explain in 140, but I need 2 different browsers for a variety of reasons ... just wish i knew why Safari spins the ball ...
@msemilym I do use Firefox, but I need dual browsers for my day work (I always need Gmail contacts open) which is why I also use Safari ..
