Senators Murray and Cantwell met with two Washingtonians who competed in the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thomas Rothrock (at left), a native of Cashmere, WA, competed in the slalom at the Olympic Games.

Scott Macartney (at right), a Redmond High School graduate who grew up in Crystal Mountain, finished 29th in the downhill and 25th in the Super-G. (04/23/02)
