Members of the press are urged to attend and spread the word about a critical community meeting, which will seek to engage U.S. citizens who fear their family could be broken apart by ICE raids and deportations.

"With the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency, comprehensive immigration reform is closer than ever to becoming a reality," said Rep. Gutierrez. "But we cannot afford to stop fighting for a moment; by putting a human face on the issue and addressing the harm that our broken immigration system is causing millions of U.S. citizens, we can begin to put a stop to the deportation-only policies that rip our families apart."
