State Programs | Performance Track Endorser Network | Federal Partners | Performance Track Participants' Association (PTPA) Exit Disclaimer

A cornerstone of the Performance Track program is partnership, not only with participating facilities, but also with states, trade associations, and other EPA voluntary programs.

Performance Track Participants' Association (PTPA) Exit Disclaimer

The PTPA is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization that was created to serve organizations participating, or interested in, Performance Track. In general, the PTPA provides a forum for corporations, trade associations, and public entities involved in Performance Track to engage in a positive dialogue with EPA, identify and share best practices, and provide insights for increasing incentives for participation. PTPA also provides leadership in promoting more effective environmental management, continuous improvement in environmental performance, and greater public involvement through Performance Track. For more information about the PTPA, please visit the Performance Track Participants' website Exit Disclaimer or contact John Flatley, Executive Director at (202) 296-3952 or email at jflatley@navista.net.

State Programs

EPA works closely with the States to promote Performance Track and to identify the similarities between state voluntary environmental performance programs and Performance Track. If your facility is participating in a state performance program, please visit the link above to State Programs to view a comparison of the program requirements.

Performance Track Endorser Network

Since its inception, the Performance Track Endorser Network has assisted EPA in promoting continuous improvement, strong performance, and environmental excellence by communicating program opportunities and successes to interested constituencies. By partnering with select trade associations, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and professional organizations, EPA enables strong environmental performers to learn about and potentially participate in Performance Track. For more information about our current Network partners, please visit the above link.

Federal Partners

Performance Track has established agreements with federal agencies that share a common vision. These partnerships allow agencies with similar goals of protecting the environment and protecting public health to join forces to accomplish agency-wide goals. Currently, Performance Track has formed partnerships with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) to help federal agencies fulfill the obligations outlined in Executive Order 13148.

EPA's Partners for the Environment

EPA has many voluntary Partnership Programs, and it encourages facilities that are participating in a Partnership Program to document their achievements in their Performance Track application. For more information about joining an EPA Partnership Program, visit the Partners for the Environment website.
