Communications Resources
EPA offers Climate Leaders Partners the following resources to communicate their program participation and achievements.
Program Brochure This brief overview (PDF) (2 pp, 1MB, About PDF) includes a step-by-step introduction to Climate Leaders and the benefits of joining the program. The Partnership Directory (PDF) (2 pp, 226K) contains program facts and a printable list of partner companies and their greenhouse gas reduction goals.
Program Guide: This document (PDF) (13 pp, 2.5MB, About PDF) outlines the Climate Leaders program, including guidance for developing a greenhouse gas inventory and management plan, and information on EPA technical assistance and
national public recognition.
Program Mark: Partners are encouraged to publicize their participation, reduction pledge, and accomplishments throughout the program. The program mark is available in JPG, TIF, and EPS formats. Press Release Template: Develop or enhance corporate press releases and communications materials by incorporating the elements found in the following document. These elements are organized by program stage and include sample text describing the Climate Leaders program. A quote from an EPA official may be available for inclusion in your release. Public Service Announcements (PSAs): The following Climate Leaders PSAs provide examples of how Climate Leaders Partners have been able to gain national recognition for their participation in the partnership.
Special Advertising Supplements: The program provides opportunities for Partners to place paid advertising in magazine sections highlighting Climate Leaders and its Partners.
Newsletter and Articles: See our Carbon Copy newsletter for program information, partner news, and case studies. Climate Leaders occasionally appears in news articles and media.
