The Region 5 Superfund Division cleans up hazardous waste sites, provides for emergency preparedness and homeland security, and responds to oil spills. We also restore abandoned land to a usable condition and prepare for and prevent chemical emergencies.

In addition, we respond to your requests for government transparency, information, and services in the Midwest. Environmental protection and conservation is our business and everyone's responsibility. We value your opinion and respect your observations while you visit our site.
