Announces New Recycled Materials Resource Center
(RMRC)
The FHWA recently awarded the new RMRC to the University of New Hampshire and the University of Wisconsin at Madison, headed by Center Directors Kevin Gardner at UNH and Craig Benson at UW-M. This is an exciting development that continues a tradition of academic and research excellence at the RMRC. The USEPA supports the RMRC through an Interagency Agreement with the FHWA. The RMRC continues to be an important resource for USEPA's industrial material recycling and C2P2 programs. The RMRC will release an update to the “User Guidelines for Waste and Byproduct Materials in Pavement Construction” in the fall, including an update on the use of coal combustion products. For more information, please visit the Recycled Materials Resource Center Web site.
