Deploying An Application

This section steps you through the process of deploying an application onto the Agency's Public Access and EPA Intranet servers. EPA's Office of Technology Operations and Planning (OTOP) provides the oversight management and computing resources needed for successful deployment. This work is encompassed in the Paying the Bills and Access to EPA Servers. Both are funded by the EPA's Working Capital Fund.Entering Intranet

OTOP strongly encourages application managers to communicate with them as early as possible regarding their development plans and requirements for assistance. For information about what Web technologies the Agency supports, go to the FAQs section of the Web Guide.

Also, for database applications containing environmental data, developers are asked to determine the pre-existence of standard data elements, and to register any unique elements in the Environmental Data Registry (EDR). See also the EDR Home Page.

For more information, please visit the Office of Technology Operations and Planning Intranet site.
