Biographical Sketch:
Serena Mankiller is secretary to Center Director and Deputy Center Director of the U.S. Geological Survey Southwest Biological Science Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. She also serves as the Records Officer for SBSC. She was formerly secretary to the directors of Glen Canyon Environmental Studies/Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research Center, and served as stenographer at Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program meetings. Serena is pursuing a degree in English at Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the Cherokee Nation.
