Received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Janis has been at Upper Midwest Environmnetal Sciences Center since June of 1994, working on numerous Long Term Resource Monitoring Program (LTRMP) and other Upper Mississippi River System mapping projects. Currently, she is producing cartographic and GIS vegetation maps of National Parks for the USGS-NPS Vegetation Mapping Program.
