Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
Leads the Resource Mapping and Spatial Analysis Team (RMSAT) on vegetation mapping projects associated with the USGS-NPS Vegetation Mapping Program; provides day-to-day direction and work assignments to team members, oversees project budgets, writes proposals, collaborates with other agencies and organizations, performs accuracy assessment and analysis, writes metadata and final project reports, and presents mapping procedures and products at meetings; provides GIS and mapping support to other UMESC scientists
