Education:
David M. Kennedy received a B.S in Biology from the Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Michigan (1971) and a Ph.D. in Fisheries Science from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona (1979).

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
As the head of the Quality Assurance Unit, he audits research studies and assists research scientists in complying with the U.S. EPA and FDA regulations for Good Laboratory Practices. He also serves as the Center's Fundamental Sciences peer review officer.

Past experiences include fisheries and limnological research conducted on the Lower Colorado River for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and the Arizona Cooperative Fishery Unit, lecturing at the University of Arizona, Mississippi River planning and study coordinator and manager for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and District Director for Wisconsin Congressman Steve Gunderson.
