Education:
1982 B.S., Fisheries and Wildlife Biology, Iowa State University

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
Carol provides a variety of geographic information system (GIS) support functions.  She administers the Center’s enterprise GIS software, maintains an in-house data depository of commonly used geospatial data sets, prepares documentation for software programs and processing procedures, prepares metadata files, and provides a variety of graphical and technical support functions.

Active Projects:

• Provide technical support for the USGS enterprise GIS software
• Provide GPS technical support
• Provide Metadata development support
• Maintain the Center’s in-house geospatial data repository
• Prepare materials for UMESC outreach efforts (text, graphics, Web pages)
• Develop a user guide for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Bird Point Count Database
