Crustal Imaging & Characterization Team Laboratories

USGS scientist sampling World Trade Center dust.The Crustal Imaging & Characterization Team (CICT) has several laboratories to facilitate our research. These laboratories support CICT, Mineral Resources Program, USGS disciplines, and other Federal agencies' science projects by providing analyses as well as method and technology development. Laboratories and supporting activities for several geoanalytical techniques include analytical and research chemistry, aqueous geochemistry, geophysics, and remote sensing / spectroscopy.
