Description:
Objective:The objective of this research project is to examine the effects of early childhood lead exposure in young adults. The specific aims are listed below.
Specific Aim 1: To ascertain the relationship between early lead exposure and antisocial behavior in young adulthood through a followup of a birth cohort of lead-exposed children into adulthood.
Specific Aim 2: To determine via path analysis procedures if academic performance and executive functioning partially mediate the relationship between early lead exposure and adult antisocial behavior.
