The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) monitored the Older Individuals Who Are Blind (OIB) program funded under Title VII, Chapter 2 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, in 14 states during FY 2008. OIB programs, their stakeholders, and RSA identified the promising practices described below. These promising practices are unique to the states providing the programs.
