Great Lakes Beach Association - The GLBA mission is the pursuit of healthy beach water conditions in the Great Lakes area. Information is shared in four major categories: Investigative, Modeling, Methodology, and Information Systems.

BEACON - Beach Advisory and Closing On-line Notification  EPA's BEACON has the latest information that states have sent to EPA, but this could be data from some months ago.

Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Research Inventory - The Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Research Inventory is an interactive, Internet-based, searchable database created as a tool to collect and disseminate up-to-date information about research projects in the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence Region. The Research Inventory allows Great Lakes researchers to identify similar studies, network, share experiences and increase efficiency.

Ohio Nowcasting Beach Advisories - A system that uses real-time information to "nowcast" water-quality conditions at two Lake Erie beaches. The information on this page is updated by 9:30 AM (EDT) every day during the regular swimming season. This nowcast issues advisories and predicts the probability once a day at the posted time only.

EPA Beaches - The EPA partners with states, tribes, territories, local governments, sources of pollution, and the public to protect beaches. Site includes the Clean Beaches Plan, funding notifications, basic facts.

Earth 911 beach Water Quality - Section of organization's main website that provides specific information regarding the most recent water quality conditions at local beaches in the U.S. Can receive e-mail alerts, see other states' activities, etc.

Beach science websites

	Wisconsin Beach Health  - Water-quality data from approximately 100 public beaches are listed on the Beach Health website. Maps of beaches by county are available along with monitoring information on the WDNR website. The Beach Health website gives the public an opportunity to view water quality data and beach advisories for Great Lakes beaches all across Wisconsin.
	Water Temperature of the Great Lakes - The water temperatures in the NODC Coastal Water Temperature Guide (CWTG) are near real-time temperatures from NOAA's National Ocean Service (NOS) tidal stations and Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS®) and most recent (within the past six hours) temperatures from NOAA's National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) moored buoys.
	Ohio Dept of Health Beach Monitoring Data - Using a map interface, select the name of the Ohio beach that you are interested in viewing for testing information. Most Lake Erie beaches are sampled four times each week, and some even daily. From the links listed below you can view results for more beaches sampled by the Cuyahoga and Erie county health districts and results are available from many of the inland state park beaches that are typically sampled twice each month.
