The William T. Pecora Award is presented annually to recognize outstanding contributions by individuals or groups toward understanding the Earth by means of remote sensing. The 2008 William T. Pecora Award will be presented at: The 17th William T. Pecora Memorial Remote Sensing Symposium, Nov 17 - 20, 2008. The theme of Pecora 17 is "Future of Land Imaging...going operational."
