The Basin
Protecting public health and the environment takes a team effort. EPA is working with many partners to finish the cleanup. These include local, state, tribal, and federal agencies, local citizen and non-profit organizations, and others. One important forum for local participation and partnerships is the Basin Commission---more formally known as the Basin Environmental Improvement Project Commission. Many of EPA’s partners are part of the Commission. Click here for a list of contacts on the Basin Commission Contacts (1 pp. 20K, About PDF)
