Contract Laboratory Program Guidance for Field Samplers

This document is designed to provide users with general information regarding environmental sample collection for the USEPA's CLP. This document provides minimum CLP requirements, an explanation of the general sampling process sequence of events, and any related information. The appendices contain useful reference information and checklists to aid in planning and documenting sampling activities.

Guidance for Labeling Externally Validated Laboratory Analytical Data for Superfund Use

This document is designed to offer guidance in using consistent terminology by external data reviewers in describing the scope and content of data verification and validation conducted on laboratory analytical data packages in support of Superfund response actions. Through the use of this guidance, EPA decision makers should be readily able to determine what data verification and validation procedures have been performed on each laboratory analytical data package regardless of which region, program office, or contractor provided the review.
