El Salvador

Update - PROJECT PROGRESS REPORT [172KB, PDF]

In 1999-2000 we raised $40,000 for young people in El Salvador. This country in Central America has suffered from a long civil war that ended in 1992 and was devastated by Hurricane Mitch in 1998. Our project in El Salvador helps young people who were orphaned as a result of the civil war.

Delegates to the ODW 2000 Annual Convention have chosen Nepal as the country to support in the 2000-01 school year! If you join ODW, you can help us decide what project to undertake this year!
