Objective:
Dispose of Se-laden drain water on canola and oil-producing crops and produce biofuel and Se-enriched animal forage.

Approach:
Irrigate canola and other crops with drainage water and evaluate the accumulation and distribution of Se in the plant and in the soil. Harvest the seed and process on-site the seed for its oil and utilize the seed by-products as Se enriched animal feed. Documents Trust with CA Department of Water Resources. Log 29081.
