Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

Internships

In 2008, the refuge completed construction of a bunkhouse to accommodate college interns and/or students working on approved refuge projects. The facility can accommodate up to 8 students, but your stay is limited to one semester or through the duration of your study.  Interns are required to work 24 hours per week and the refuge provides a stipend of $100/week to help cover expenses.
