Nonpoint Source Resource Page
This Web page is intended to be a tool to help cooperators develop better projects which more effectively address nonpoint source related water quality problems. Through the use of this page, cooperators should receive assistance in focusing the project on the specific water quality problem while incorporating the concepts of Partnerships, the Watershed Approach, and Leveraging of Resources.

§319(h) Program
|

January 30 | NPS Management Program Annual Report is due to the regional office. Submission of report is requirement of grant. |
March | EPA issues brief National Guidance including annual planning targets (for planning purposes, the President's request level will be assumed.) |
April or May | Final target allocations received. Conduct midyear review on site or via conference call. Negotiate work plans for next Fiscal Year. |
May | Application and draft work plans submitted by States. |
July | Comments on work plans submitted to States. |
August | Final work plans submitted by States. |
90 days from receipt of approvable work plan and application | EPA Region approves work plan and awards grant. |
September or October | Conduct end-of-year review on site or via conference call. |
30 days after mid point and end of fiscal year | Semiannual Progress Reports are due to Regional project officers. |
Quarterly | Drawdown reports are reviewed to ensure grantees are utilizing funds in a timely manner. |
90 days after end of project period | Final Report is due; Final Financial Status Report is due.
When both are reviewed and approved, close out is initiated with Grants Specialists. |
