There are a number of ways you can get involved in the activities
of the National EPA-Tribal Science Council depending on your level
of interest, availability and expertise.
Raising Science Issues
If you have identified a pressing tribal science issue and are interested
in bringing it to the attention of the National EPA-Tribal Science
Council, the best way to do so is through your Tribal
or Agency representative. Please contact them directly to discuss
any issues that you think might be appropriate for the TSC to address.
Participate in TSC Subcommittees and Workgroups
If you are a scientist doing work in any of the TSC's current areas
of focus (see What We Are Doing) and would
like to participate in its workgroups or subcommittees, please contact
Monica Rodia, Executive Secretary, National EPA-Tribal Science
Council at Rodia.Monica@epa.gov
or 202-564-8322.
Attend TSC Workshops and Events
The TSC hosts or sponsors workshops and events across the country
on specific priority tribal science issues. These workshops and
events will be posted to the Science and American Indians Web site
Announcements page and will
be distributed via email to those that have signed up to receive
e-mail updates. Funding is sometimes available for speakers and
participants. If you are interested in receiving notices about these
events, please click on the Receive Email
Updates link located at the top right corner of any page of the
Science and American Indians web site.
Receive Email Updates
If you are interested in getting information about TSC activities
or announcements about science events and information that is relevant
to tribes, please click on the Receive Email
Updates link located at the top right corner of any page of
the Science and American Indians web site. By signing up, you will
