Mosquito and Fly Research Unit's research benefits anyone who has ever sought protection from mosquitoes, biting midges, sand flies, black flies, deer flies, house flies, stable flies, ticks, and arthropod-borne disease agents that cause Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ehrlichiosis, encephalitis, dengue, yellow fever, plague, malaria, or West Nile virus.
