Skunk Vine (Paederia foetida)

Paederia foetida is a weedy vine of natural areas in Florida and is spreading into other parts of the Southeastern United States, with the potential to invade well beyond this geographical region.  Control of the plant by chemical or mechanical means damages valued vegetation that the vine infests.  Skunk vine is a Category I Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council weed, a listing that groups the plant with among the most invasive species in Florida.
