Progress Review of Endocrine Disruptors Research Program - October 29 - 31, 2002

NCER Staff Writer

WASHINGTON (NCER) - NCER is pleased to announce that a Progress Review of EPA's Endocrine Disruptors (ED) Research Program will take place October 29-31, 2002 in Research Triangle Park, NC, at EPA's new facility. The Progress Review will bring together the Office of Research and Development's intramural scientists with scientists who have been supported by the ED's extramural program, Science to Achieve Results (STAR). The Progress Review will consist of a series of plenary platform sessions where ORD and university scientists will present a summary of their research activities. In addition, there will be a poster session, which will provide for even further interactions among scientists in a more informal setting. The Progress Review will be open to all EPA staff and scientists from other federal agencies who are interested in ED research.

Over the next few weeks we will be working with ORD and extramural scientists to put together the agenda for the Progress Review. In addition, we will be working with a contractor on logistical support for the workshop, including designating a hotel for out of town attendees. Please mark your calendars for an exciting workshop and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available! Please distribute this announcement throughout your organization.
