- National Polio Surveillance Project - India
Since 1995, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India has been conducting intensive immunization and surveillance activities aimed at the complete elimination of poliovirus and paralytic polio.

More than one million Rotary members have volunteered their time and personal resources to protect more than 2 billion children in 122 countries from polio.
- United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
UNICEF's role in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative focuses on vaccine procurement, communications/social mobilization and operational support.
- World Health Organization (WHO)
WHO, through its headquarters, regional and country offices, provides the overall technical direction and strategic planning for the management and coordination of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.
