Mission

The Mission of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Office is to add or enhance value to our interactions with the United States Department of Transportation customers.

Vision

The Vision of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Office is to make the Philadelphia Office essential to our transportation partners in the Philadelphia area by providing quality service and proactive leadership.

Outcome Goal #1: Develop into a self-managed work team.

Output goal 1: Achieve full delegation.
Output goal 2: Improve team cohesion through better knowledge of each other's duties.
Output goal 3: Develop and implement a training schedule for awareness of other DOT programs and team member's activities.
Output goal 4: Work as a team by agreeing where team members can work together.

Outcome Goal #2: Reach out to and educate our customers.

Output Goal 1: Improve communication with our customer through regular interactions.
Output Goal 2: Make customers aware of changing program requirements and opportunities.
Output Goal 3: Provide expertise to our customers not readily available to them.

Output Goal 2: Promote effective management of existing and planned transportation facilities and systems across all modes.
