State, Local, Tribal
and Federal Partnerships
The EPA, other Federal agencies, and the 300+ State, local and tribal air quality agencies have worked since the enactment of the Clean Air Act to develop an effective partnership to achieve reductions in emissions of toxic air pollutants nationwide. As government co-regulators, EPA's headquarters and Regional Offices and State, local and tribal agencies recognize the importance of teamwork for rulemakings, implementation and program review activities to ensure a successful program to protect public health and the environment.
As part of these coordination efforts, EPA has developed a local air toxics assessment and reduction strategies webpage to share information on community capacity building, tools for understanding local air toxics and improving air quality.
The links below are to State, local and Tribal programs as well as the implementation share library (a compilation of implementation and outreach tools developed by regulatory agencies). Please let us know of any corrections needed or other State/local/tribal air pollution prevention and control websites that should be added to this listing by email.
