| 2007, June 20-21. USGS hosts Airborne-Lidar Technology and Applications Workshop in Louisiana. Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge. The U.S. Geological Survey hosted a workshop on airborne lidar (light detection and ranging). The primary objective was to educate attendees on airborne-lidar technology and its potential applications in the northern Gulf of Mexico region. |
