FPI Bastrop
Federal Prison Industry of Bastrop,Texas provides high quality, mission-ready vehicles to a variety of federal law enforcement agencies. We currently employ 17 staff members and 308 inmates to handle all aspects of our customers' fleet purchases and deliveries across the United States and to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
The FPI Bastrop facility features Auto Cad design areas, vehicle decals and stripping, and a fully operational metals fabrication shop, allowing us to quickly and efficiently meet the unique needs of each customer. At FPI Bastrop, we are proud of our ability to implement all projects with maximum efficiency, from initial customer input to design and development, to the finished product.

The FPI Bastrop Upfitting operation supplies customers with customized solutions to any commercial vehicle upfit requirement.
CERTIFICATIONS
FPI Bastrop has received its American Correctional
Accreditation (ACA) and employs two procurement
agents with authorized warrants to purchase
materials under the Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR). All production foremen are certified
Universal Technicians; and the Quality
Assurance Manager has completed all
