Objective:
Support of the Smithsonian Soils Exhibit.

Approach:
The project includes several elements: Permanent display of soil monoliths in the National Museum of Natural History; Interactive exhibits on agriculture, the environment and science in the museum; Educational soils curriculum units aimed at middle school students delivered through teachers, librarians, youth leaders through experiments, lesson plans, information on the world wide web.
