EO-1 Delivery Times
The average delivery time for EO-1 data will depend on the product type and/or media.

*Instructions for obtaining your FTP order will be emailed to you within the time period listed above. Once the FTP Download instructions are sent, the data will be available from our FTP site for 10 days. If you do not retrieve the data within this time frame, the only way to re-post the data to the FTP site is to place a new order at your expense. **Depending on the acquisition date, scheduling conflicts and satellite maintenance, up to two weeks latency can occur between the time EDC receives payment for the DAR tasking and the time the image may be scheduled for acquisition.Once EDC has scheduled the target scene(s), it will be subsequently imaged and the data will be downlinked to an in-view EO-1 ground station. A typical timeline for EO-1 data to be downlinked to a remote ground station, received at EDC and processed is approximately two to four weeks.
Upon receipt of the image at EDC, cloud cover will be assessed over the entire image and EDC will email the browse for your review. If the image has less than 25% cloud cover, the DAR will be considered fulfilled and the data product can be ordered and processed. If the image has greater than 25% cloud cover, EDC will reschedule the target scene up to two additional times at no extra cost.
The above are average delivery times and are not guaranteed. The actual delivery time may vary, depending on the task load at the time an order is placed. Delivery time may also be longer if shipping to a location outside the U.S.
Note: Products will normally be shipped via the most economical means possible. It is best if you provide a street address for the most accurate and timely delivery.
