About Acoustics	English (USA)
This list is maintained by the USGS, Office of Surface Water for the purpose of sharing information regarding hydroacoustics, the application of acoustics to the measurement of streamflow, water velocity, and other hydraulic parameters. The list is used to share information about applications involving a variety of hydroacoustic instruments including acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCPs), side-looking acoustic profilers, acoustic velocity meters (AVM's), and acoustic Doppler velocimeters (ADV's). It used by the USGS to disseminate important information regarding quality assurance practices, training, and other matters. Using Acoustics
To post a message to all the list members, send email to acoustics@simon.er.usgs.gov. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Acoustics
Subscribe to Acoustics by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
